Westbound at The Works is a multi-family development on Chattahoochee Avenue in Atlanta’s fast-growing and popular Upper Westside neighborhood. This 6-story project consists of 306 apartment units, a multitude of amenity spaces, and a precast parking deck designed to serve both residents and nearby retail. The project’s exterior industrial look fits in seamlessly with the existing warehouse aesthetic of The Works development. Large, industrial, wrought iron-inspired windows together with full-height brick facades are featured at key points of the project in order to complement and harmonize with the existing architectural context.
Apartments include a variety of 1- and 2- bedroom units, all with balconies. The resident amenities include a clubroom, sports bar, co-working space, fitness room, bike room, dog spa, dog park, and resort-style pool. Featuring oversized garage door-style windows and operable glass walls, the amenity spaces blend the indoors and outdoors, creating a rhythm and flow between the private courtyard pool area, a large, covered breezeway, and the neighboring camp-themed park.
RJTR is providing architectural, interior and building engineering design services for Westbound at the Works developed by Selig Enterprises.
