Correll Hall is the first phase of the Business Learning Community, the new home of the Terry College of Business graduate programs. The learning community is situated next door to the historic UGA campus core and is planned as a three phase project. Named after the former CEO of Georgia-Pacific, A.D. ‘Pete’ Correll and his wife Ada Lee, Correll Hall is the flagship building and houses the graduate program with modern tired classrooms, the dean’s suite and administrative offices, project team rooms, a business innovation lab, and a two-story tall graduate commons space which opens onto a stone terrace and classical portico.
The four story academic building was designed to complement the existing nearby Georgian style architecture with red brick, cast stone trim, a slate roof, and elements of Greek Revival expression. The interior is organized around the south facing graduate commons study space with a double-height volume that allows for a visual connection to the second floor public corridor.
