Vickers is a boutique, mixed-use development located in the heart of Historic Roswell, GA near Atlanta. The development includes 79 multi-family units in two 3-story brick buildings over structured podium parking on a prime corner lot location. The project also provides approximately 8,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor street retail space including an outdoor dining courtyard along bustling Canton St; the nerve center of Historic Roswell. Working closely with Roswell’s Historic Preservation Committee, we designed the project as two free-standing buildings to complement the desired pedestrian scale of the neighborhood and provide an internal public street for access to secured resident parking. The facades of the two buildings were carefully developed with a variety of brick materials and sensitive detailing in keeping with the historical character of the area. Each building was designed as a cohesive montage of historically inspired buildings which appear to have been built over time creating the overall development.
