Extended Stay America

RJTR has been selected to serve in the role of the Implementation Architect for Extended Stay of America’s national prototype rollout program. Selected through a competitive process, RJTR was charged with developing a prototype design concept and completing all design documentation for a prototypical site. The end goal was to develop a product which fit into an extremely aggressive cost model serving ESA’s needs as they embarked on their first corporate construction program in over a decade. As a part of the overall ESA brand transformation, they intended to sell franchises for the first time in their history and as such, needed a complete set of prototype construction documents with which to sell the brand. The typical ESA prototype hotel takes the form of a 124 key, 4 story structure.
Following completion of the consolidated prototype drawing set, RJTR is managing the construction of corporate properties in Tampa, Port Charlotte and Titusville, FL, Bluffton, SC and Chandler, AZ. Additional sites in permitting include Tampa Executive Airport, Newnan, GA and Pooler, GA. Additionally, RJTR is performing architectural services on three additional sites for both Corporate Ownership as well as Franchisees.
