Galleria
Centre,
Georgia’s
premier
mid-size
convention
venue
for
tradeshows,
meetings,
and
special
events,
is
set
to
undergo
a
transformational
expansion
and
renovation
to
secure
its
position
as
a
top-tier
facility
within
the
state
and
beyond.
The
project
will
bring
state-of-the-art
facilities,
additional
connectivity
to
The
Battery
and
Cumberland
Community
Improvement
District,
and
enhanced
guest
experiences.
Scheduled
to
break
ground
in
late
2025,
the
revitalization
of
Cobb
Galleria
Centre
involves
demolishing
the
existing
Galleria
Specialty
Shops
and
second-floor
meeting
rooms
to
make
way
for
a
2-story
grand
lobby.
The
addition
of
a
new
junior
ballroom
and
25,000
square
feet
of
modern
meeting
space
will
offer
advanced
graphics
and
technology
to
meet
diverse
event
needs.
The
project
will
also
add
19,000
square
feet
of
new
prefunction
space,
along
with
two
unique
outdoor
courtyards
that
infuse
natural
light
into
the
building’s
expanded
interior.
A
newly
designed
parking
structure
with
covered,
all-weather
access
will
enhance
visitor
convenience.

The
project
includes
extensive
renovations
across
the
venue’s
existing
spaces,
including
upgrades
to
the
exhibition
hall,
ballroom,
prefunction,
rotunda,
concourse,
and
back-of-house
areas.
Upon
completion
in
2027,
this
transformation
will
ensure
the
venue
remains
Georgia’s
premier
convention
center,
achieving
high
standards
on
both
state
and
national
levels.
