RJTR provided architectural, interior design, and FF&E services for the new Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center at the Atlanta Falcons’ practice facility campus in Flowery Branch, Georgia. With a combined 29,000 GSF, the program consists of an Orthopaedics & Spine Center; a Physical Therapy gym and treatment rooms; and a Sports Performance and Research Center (SPARC), all housed in a new two-story medical office building featuring views of the Falcons’ outdoor practice fields and a viewing portal into the existing indoor practice facility.

The facility includes a clinical imaging suite with a 3T MRI, digital X-ray, and infrastructure for additional X-ray, as well as a research imaging suite with a 3T MRI and infrastructure for future MEG imaging. The MRI suites are outfitted with custom motion-sensor camera systems and specialized one-of-a-kind research equipment. The SPARC lab features over 120 motion-tracking cameras, thirteen recessed force plates, and a custom recessed treadmill. Extensive A/V, technology, medial equipment, and signage/graphics coordination was required throughout all areas of the project.
