Solis Ballantyne is multi-family development located in the Ballantyne community on the south side of Charlotte, NC. The 3-story apartment building is conveniently located directly across the street from the area YMCA and on a corner property with direct access to 2 arterial streets. The single-building footprint includes spacious conditioned corridors and 194 units in a variety of studio, 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units. Units average 930 rentable square feet and all include generous roofed porches or balconies except for 7 units that have sunrooms instead. The apartments are surrounded by lush landscaping and have convenient access to 269 on-grade parking spaces plus 24 additional 1-car garage spaces.

The footprint offsets, stone, fiber cement paneling, and lap siding are used to breakdown the building mass to a comfortable human scale. Amenities include a spacious clubroom with a billiards area and catering kitchen, conference room, a reserve club with TV and game table, swimming pool with sun shelf and bubblers, fully-equipped fitness center, yoga room, and dog spa.

A large open-air pavilion provides outdoor entertaining space with direct access to the pool deck. The pool courtyard is one of three amenity courtyards that have gas grills, firepits and seating areas. RJTR provided architectural, engineering and interior design services including FFE for Solis Ballantyne developed by Terwilliger Pappas Multi-Family Partners. This project received 2017 ASID Design Excellence Silver for Hospitality and Hotels.
