RJTR provided master planning, architecture, interior design and FF&E services for this 248,510 gsf, 5-story assisted living, memory care, and independent living community in Sandy Springs, GA for developer Dominion Partners.
Thoughtfully linking together the three buildings (Independent Living, Assisted Living and Communal buildings) in a manner to promote the experience of all who live, visit and work there was pivotal and required a design with finesse that mirrors that of a 5-star hotel. Hospitality-like staff-only, undisclosed corridors and double-sided service elevators played a key role in these adjacencies.

The central Communal building is accessible to both the Independent and Assisted Living buildings and houses the concierge healthcare area inclusive of a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with physical therapy, fitness gym, yoga room and an indoor heated pool. This connector building is also where the bistro cafe, mail room, main kitchen and formal dining rooms are situated allowing direct access for both Independent and Assisted Living Residents alike.
